Very cozy nice place to sit in the quietness and enjoy a cup of coffee being surrounded by books. Books are mostly in Italian, there is one shelf with books in English an French. The place has got a serene great vibe of a bookstore and warm atmosphere of a coffee shop. They don’t do breakfast but have some pastries. For me a nice place to sit when I want to read or write and not being disturbed. Very friendly service as well. So highly recommend if you need a coffee, a book or just a quite place in a busy city :-)
A bookshop cum cafe! Lovely collection of books to pick and read while you grab a cup of joe or an aperitif. Books are mostly in Italian, French and English and all up for sale. There’s a perfect outdoorsy sit out to settle yourself with a good read while you soak some sun and a picturesque street view of Parvis!
Piola Piccola is just a wonderful little gem in Saint Gilles: the secondhand books includes some rare finds, spritz is great (and cheap), coffee is excellent, staff is incredibly friendly and kind.
