Probably the best place to get books near the area. The staff was great and cooperated to cash a two year old gift card. If you have a book in mind ask anyone at the desk, if not they let you scour through as much as you like. The books are arranged as per publishers which is great to explore but can be annoying if you are looking for a specific theme. They will also delightfully get a ladder to fetch a certain copy high up in the stacks.
Leaves something to be desired. Constricted space in the store makes it difficult to properly browse and find books to buy.
However, the books are kept in immaculate condition, and some special editions of classics are absolutely worth checking out. Great non-fiction section, especially on politics and world history.
When I enter a store I usually expect the sales executive to know stuffs but today maybe the person was new...he had to ask around too and couldn't help much so I also couldn't have the feel of connecting with the books & it's location.
Space is also a bit cramped.
One of the finest bookstores in Delhi. They have excellent selection of books. Staff is humble and knowledgeable and will leave no stone unturned to get books that you need. They are also very good at suggesting books depending on your taste.
It's one of those rare gems as bookstores that you look for in a city that you visit, or you wish it were in your city so that you could visit it every weekend.
This shop has an excellent collection of those rare and collectible books which you only see online in international bookstores.
You would be surprised by the books that you may come across here.
Spend a good amount of time scanning every stack from top to bottom and you won't be going empty handed for sure.
You don't visit these stores for your run of the mill fiction, self help, political books. You visit them for pristine-state books which weigh atleast 2 kilos, look beautiful and are a joy to read!
