Husband and I have been trying small batch coffee shops for about 2 years now. We live in Aurora but our chiropractor is in Arvada so we travel the I-70 corridor quite a bit. For some reason, Tenn St has NEVER come up in my searches until this morning! What?! Husband used to attend networking meetings down the street at the Cozy Cottage and did not know the coffee shop was there! So crazy. But I fell in love the minute we walked in the door! As a book lover, how could you not?! It’s so cozy and welcoming and charming and…. You get my point. The vinyl station is just 🫶🏻 How unique! It’s clean and the baristas were friendly. We did not utilize the restroom or have food so I can’t comment on those. The parking seems to be all street and when I say all, that makes it sound like there’s more/easy parking. I would not say that. And the coffee is ok. It’s not great but it’s not bad by any means. Just not as flavorful as expected. We got vanilla lattes and they prob’ly just needed more vanilla but they were busy so we didn’t want to bother. It wasn’t that serious. Coffee for us can’t taste like coffee so…. The coffee wasn’t bitter tasting or super strong or anything so it was fine. And we had the best conversation with another customer! I love that! I think we’ll come back in two weeks on the way to our next appt.

One of the great finds on Tennyson street! This is a wonderful atmosphere to work, meet up with friends or journal away (as I do). This place has a great Americano, and I absolutely loved the burrito: very hearty and tasteful. Staff is really friendly as well. I love the style of books and art throughout. It's really welcoming and tough to leave! I recommend going for the unique, artful and relaxed environment. Not to mention the food and beverages are great.

We walk to Tenn Street Coffee and Books multiple times a week to get coffee and a delicious pastry. The folks are always so nice, and the coffee and pastries are always on point! It’s also a great place to check out books and records! I highly recommend stopping here and checking it out!

It's always nice to run into new cafes/bookstores - this is a lovely place to stop by quickly or pass a few hours. The espresso was good but probably not in itself a reason to stop. There are only a few books, so don't expect lots of variety or options, though it's still nice to browse them. The vibe is great!

By far the best coffee shop for miles. Their signature blends are far better than Starbucks and more consistent every time. They're situated in the most adorable location, and the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Whether you're stopping in for coffee before work or staying in the cozy attached book/record store to relax, you feel welcome and comfortable. Service and management are incredible, and I love having them in our neighborhood!
