Fantastic independent bookshop with a selection so thoughtfully curated! Love coming in here to have a browse across all the genres. It’s great to come in and have a chat with the staff who are very knowledgeable and have great recommendations. If you’re looking for something not currently stocked, they’re also able to source for you. Coffee also good with nice seating.

This small bookshop-café is to the area what a jug of warm milk would be to a Victorian orphanage. The very right thing, but painfully little. Aside from this circumstance, I only have praise for it. The selection of books shows taste, giving you the feeling that culture still matters – something not necessarily experienced in a big London bookshop, drown in cutesy merchandise. The staff is genuinely nice. P.S. - I downgrade my rating for two reasons, the first being "BOOZE" added to the profile. I like my bookshops to be about books in the first place, but with toddlers crawling around, there's too much contradiction of intent going on now. Also, the woke stuff, with the obligatory Frida-Kahlo-as-feminist-Mickey-Mouse, is way too prominent for such a tiny place. If I wanted ideology I would join some party, thank you.
