Very good bookstore, popular with diverse people and always quiet&peace atmosphere. Staffs are always supportive with very nice attitude. However, 27th Feb met one young lady staff severing me in very bad way at the 1st floor painting kits area. She refused to help me to collect points. She said under 5 pounds purchase won’t get any points collection. Then she insisted that the paper receipt must be printed and carried with me, otherwise I would be checking if I already pay for my purchase🤔I still feel uncomfortable and not sure where to complain this issue. This kind of behavior really decreases the quality of this excellent store.
I felt smarter just being there. There are many genres of book. With 20£, you can buy almost any book, so it's really affordable. The staff was really nice too!

I was so impressed to discover the cafe,on the First floor of the store, the smell of the printed books, hot cup of tea and super friendly staff..Just found my study place☺️
I went here after visiting the local Greenwich market to see if they had some board games. The store is filled with plenty of books from many different categories. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the store is clean. Overall, a great experience.
Sat my pregnant wife down at the coffee shop and she was content for the next couple hours while I explored the books. Coffee was not the best, but you go there for the lounging and books, right?
