I was so excited to visit this place on my first visit to CDMX. There is a great selection of Spanish language queer books, as well as a smaller selection of English language queer books. I especially liked their 18+ selection of comics, and their postcards! Loved learning about the space and seeing classes happening, drag makeup being put on, and people enjoying the cafe. What a special place. Can't wait to return.
I lover this place. All PRIDE community accommodating and accepting. It is a bookstore and cultural center. Definitely a safe haven for the PRIDE community. There are workshops and events happening throughout the month. I went to their 15th year anniversary where they had a drag show and burlesque show. Recommend 100%
Such a special place! According to them it’s the largest (if not the only) queer bookstore in Latin America. It’s also a cafe and LGBTQ+ community and cultural center. Great selection of (mostly Spanish-language) queer and feminist books.
Alberto was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and showed me some clips from their Instagram of all the programming they host — musical performances, drag shows, parties, and so much more. Definitely a place to visit!
Great LGBTQ book store! I wish the English selection was bigger, though. The cafe is lovely, we especially enjoyed the cauliflower wings with lemon-pepper sauce!!
