I've been here for lunch, a little shy to ask for the kids menu but the girl at the counter was very kind and she told me "daijoubu!" to my apologizeing introduction "I'm an adult, but..." XD
The bookshop itself is very nice, too. I've found several books signed by their authors which is a nice plus!
I'll surely come back again.
[A cafe where you can enjoy the scent of books, and a quiet space where you can relax may be a valuable shop!]
This cafe is located on the second floor of a building, 2 minutes walk from Jimbocho Station, in a row of bookstores. The store is decorated with old books, some of which you can even pick up. It might be more like an event space.
There are curries, cakes, drinks, etc., and there seems to be alcohol available at night. During the day, you can enjoy a quiet space surrounded by books, and it may be a good idea to put down your smartphone and relax with the scent of paper and ink.
I didn't have a specific purpose, so I didn't stay long. I looked at the exhibits and some photos. Does anyone like the sneak peeks of Araki-san's photo book?
