A beautiful book shop and café. The space is a fascinating complex, comprising a book store and café, thoughtfully designed and decorated. It has a great atmosphere. You can head up to the terrace or behind the back corridor into a quaint and stylish room with a large sofa.
Some downsides: 1), Staff are not friendly, especially the manager, 2) trying to walk through main corridor of books is difficult as it is narrow, especially with people taking photos. 3), quality of the coffee is okay to moderate, not at all in keeping with the rest of the experience, 4) organization of books on the shelves leaves one confused and frustrated; it can be difficult to find the genre or book you're looking for without asking staff, 5) books are expensive, and some are damaged with no discount
What a hidden gem! Book store with cafe and a rooftop area for dining!
They have wifi, lots of books to buy, a cafe with a variety of teas, cocktails, light kitchen and breakfast items.
Clean with large spaces for sharing teas over a book, some sun when it’s out on the rooftop and super nice customer service.
New favorite.
Nothing too fancy But classy and relaxing. A cute little cafe inside of bookstore. Owner even bought us full bottle of fresh water with herb and lemon inside. Wow. And price is like 20% Cheaper than rest of the places in Pelermo. Good WiFi Perfect for digital nomads.
Extremely disappointing experience. We were denied service because we wanted to have a coffee at lunchtime even though 90% of the tables were empty. They could have offered us to stay until they needed the table, instead we had to get up and leave as if we had done something wrong.
